Oh my god, guys. I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I last updated le blog. Things have been unbelievably busy, and as I’m sure y’all know, NOM Digital’s been my number 1 priority for quite some time. It’s been crazy how quickly we’ve been growing, and I’m beyond excited for what’s to come. With that said, I’ll do my best to stay active on here, but I can’t make any promises.
For today’s post, I wanted to share snaps from my latest foodventure in DC. I asked some of my favorite Baltimore foodies to join me for not one, but TWO brunches in the district, and I was thrilled we all got to hang out. We started the morning off at Bistro Cacao to experience their new 3-course prix fixe. Priced at $35 per person, you have the option of adding mimosas for $3.99 a pop!
The $35 price is SUCH a great value, and you end up getting so much food, it’s low key ridiculous. I recommend starting off with their French Onion Soup (super tasty), then getting either their steak and eggs or benedict option. Then for “dessert,” get either the crepes or challah french toast.
Afterwards, we took an Uber together and chilled at Dirty Habit for round 2. I was really happy to see how busy they were, and the cherry blossom decorations on their patio is *chef’s kiss*. I’m really excited to hang there when it gets warmer out. PS. It’s dog friendly so Daisy might make an appearance as well!
There were 5 of us total so we got a huge spread of food and drinks! The cocktails were a hit (as per usual), and standout dishes were as follows: their churros, Birria Shakshouka, and Chilaquiles.
For those of you looking to enjoy bottomless brunch, you have the option of indulging for $35! That means unlimited mimosas, brunch punch and micheladas for 2 hours. Their cocktails are really great though so I personally recommend ordering off the menu, but to each their own.
I’m very excited to come back for dinner soon! Their food is always so, so beautiful so I’ll make sure to update with thoughts ASAP. Although I don’t share too much lifestyle content on @bykimberlykong anymore, I still post a TON of my food photography so definitely make sure to check my work out there. Thanks for your patience, friends. Sending y’all big e-hugs!
