It’s been a minute since I did a haul post so I’m excited to share today’s blast with y’all. Blooming Jelly recently reached out and offered to send me a few pieces of my choice in exchange for said review so let’s get to it. We’ll be discussing 4 items/sets today so continue reading to see what’s worth the moolah and what’s not.
1. Oversized Plaid Shirt Flannel Shacket ($28.99)
I wouldn’t call this a shacket per se, but I really do like this top. If you follow me on instagram, you know it’s become a staple. My everyday uniform is high waisted jeans/bottoms, a cute crop, an oversized/loose button front, and distressed boots, and this has been a go-to in my winter rotation. I got a size medium, and I’m very much a fan of how it fits, and the color scheme’s right up my alley. Highly recommend getting this for yourself!
2. Ripped Sweatshirt & Sweatpants Tracksuit Set ($39.99)
This is a pretty sweet deal for $40. The fabric’s kind of thin, but it’ll be a good transitional option once it gets a little warmer out. I’m into sets because I can mix and match (more bang for my buck) – the top has a really cool cutout that I like so expect to see me pairing it with other high-waisted options in the near future. It’s also a great option for those of you looking for cute, comfy loungewear.
3. Be Kind Sweatshirt ($27.99)
I really like this sweatshirt. One of my motto’s is “don’t be shitty,” so this very much falls in line with my attitude on life. The quality’s pretty good, and I like the way the material feels on my skin. Like everything else in today’s roundup, I got a size medium, and I like the way it fits.
I always prefer looser on top and tighter on the bottom – don’t ask me why, it’s just my thing apparently. I just feel like it looks better, on my figure at least. If you’re digging the design, I definitely recommend getting this for yourself. You won’t be disappointed, and everything looks exactly like it does in the images on their site.
4. Tie Dye Sweatshirt & Sweatpants ($39.99)
I really wanted to like this, and I honestly did like it…just not on me. I could see this looking cool on others though, and I think I’ll probably sport this for an editorial-esque shoot in the future.
The colors are dope, but it just doesn’t flatter my body, and the hues aren’t great with my skin tone. The fabric’s made of a polyester spandex blend, and like the gray set above, this will also be good for transitional weather.
Alright friends, let me know what you thought of my latest haul by leaving a comment below, and make sure to check back soon for SF part 3 + NY fun. I also just ordered a bunch of stuff from ASOS so I’ll do a haul review on that as well. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
