Alright guys, today’s post is short and sweet because I’m getting ready to emcee at Charm City Night Market with my dear friend, Louie Silverio (aka @bmorefood). If you live near Baltimore, come say hi – we’ll be at the Center Plaza stage. It should be a good time so come and browse vendors, nom on some bomb food, and enjoy fantastic performances while recovering from your inevitable food coma.
Today’s post is all about the off the shoulder dress. I purchased this from H&M a while back so I obviously can’t link you guys, but I’ll share other affordable styles below in a widget. I’m a huge fan of the OTS cut because it’s subtly sexy. It oozes feminine vibes, and it’s flattering for any and every body type. For my latest, I kept things extra simple and accessorized with a fabulous crossbody from Kate Spade. It’s embellished with pearls so it doubles as jewelry, and it makes a trendy yet understated statement due to it’s neutral color. I wanted a little extra height so I wore beige wedges to finish off my look.
How do you guys feel about off-the-shoulder dresses? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below. And don’t forget to stock up on closet staples while you can! Stores are trying to get rid of summer clothing so take advantage of their blowout sales. Stick to classics though – buying “hot” pieces are a mistake because they probably won’t be in style next spring/summer. A cute denim skirt, a fabulous printed wrap dress, or a super flattering graphic tee are timeless. Feel free to reach out with any questions, friends. I’m always happy to hear from you guys.
