Looking to level up your everyday routine? Here are 5 game-changing beauty products I can’t do without. I’ve been passionate about skincare all my life! My mom’s super knowledgeable so she’s taught me a lot, and it’s honestly kind of wild how good her skin is. She’s turning 60 soon, and she high key looks like she’s in her early to mid 40s.
Skincare is so, SO important. I feel like people are much more concerned with learning how to conceal than learning how to properly look after their face. Foundation’s great and all, but do you know what’s better? Naturally dewy skin, lol. Stick with me to read about must have beauty items that will change your regimen for the better and give you gorgeous skin.
1. Foreo LUNA Mini 2
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love my Foreo LUNA Mini 2. It combines T-sonic pulsations to cleanse with its nonabrasive silicone brush. I don’t really understand the science behind it, but whatever it is, it WORKS!
The unique silicone design’s gentle on your skin, and it’s nonporous to resist bacteria buildup. It uses up to 8,000 T-sonic pulsations per minute to purify, and it’s small and compact which makes it perfect for travel. One full charge lasts up to 5 months (about 300 uses), and it’s fully waterproof so you can keep it in the shower.
This is way more sanitary than a brush head, and it’s gentle enough for all skin types. If you only decide to get one thing from this list, please do yourself a favor and get a LUNA mini…or a LUNA of some sort.
It’s honestly changed my skin for the better, and you’ll be able to see results the very next day. I use it with my favorite face wash, and it’s done wonders for my overall complexion. The pores in and around my nose look much smaller, and my skin looks/feels cleaner.
The device buzzes to let you know that it’s time to change zones on your face, but I personally like using it longer because it doubles as a massager. I spend a little extra time on “problem” areas on my face like my cheeks and nose.
I got mine while it was on sale a while back, but it’s available online at Ulta for $119. It’s definitely not cheap, but trust me when I say it’s SO worth the money. Click HERE to purchase and browse different models below. Note: make sure you read about each device before purchasing – they have various functions, hence the different price tags!
2. 3-step Glo Pack
As GLO’s social media girl, you could say that I’m biased…except I’m not. Their 3-step GLO PACK’s honestly nothing short of amazing, and the included sheet mask’s one of the BEST I’ve ever used. And that means a lot coming from me because I am a face mask aficionado.
This innovative set contains all the products you need for the perfect mini facial at home. Step 1’s an aloe gel cleanser, step 2’s a hyaluronic serum, and step 3’s their baller bearberry gold lace face mask. Their cleanser preps and cleans, their serum smoothens while restoring the natural balance of the epidermis, and their bearberry mask leaves your face hydrated and plump.
Now I like steps 1 and 2, but I LOVE step 3. Their sheet mask’s soaked in snail serum, hyaluronic acid, and bearberry extract, and it’s as effective as it is pretty. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and pat in the remaining essence for one of the best at-home masks you’ll ever have the pleasure of trying.
3. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I got this lip mask as a gift from a friend a while back, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I put this on every night before I sleep to wake up with a supple pout. This softening balm’s enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, treating dryness and fine lines…and it smells like heaven.
Its exclusive Moisture Wrap tech contains hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film, locking in moisture and said ingredients to help reduce flakiness. It’s $22 for a small bottle, and although that may seem expensive, a little goes a long way so it’s actually reasonable if you think about cost per wear. You’ll be able to feel the difference almost immediately so definitely make sure to give this a try! Note: I own the pink sleeping mask show first below.
4. Amorepacific Moisture Bound Sleeping Mask
For those of you looking for a bomb sleeping mask, I highly recommend Moisture Bound by Amorepacific. This deeply hydrating product’s infused with Asian botanicals and targets early signs of aging while you sleep. The formula’s lightweight and delivers max hydration, fortifying your skin’s natural protective barrier and increasing antioxidant production to fight free radical damage.
The texture’s gel-like, and it glides on super easy. It does have a bit of a scent, but I personally like the way it smells. I use it on top of my moisturizer when I’m feeling especially dry, and my skin always looks amazing when I wake up in the morning. I can always count on a dewy glow after using this overnight treatment – if you’re looking to thoroughly moisturize, this product’s a must!
5. Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum
I’m a pretty big fan of Peach and Lily in general, but this is by far my favorite skincare product from their line. They call it “super juice” serum because it gives you picture-perfect skin. Blended with potent beautifying ingredients, you’re left with a poreless, translucent look that parallels glass – hence the name! It’s made with peach extract, niacinamide, asian mountain yam extract, madecassoide, hyaluronic acid complex, and peptide complex.
After repeated use, I saw a fairly big improvement in my skin’s texture. It leaves me nicely moisturized, but it does feel a little sticky post application. I use cream/moisturizer on top of serum though so I don’t really care, but I wanted to give you a heads up in case that was a dealbreaker for you. Use 2-3 pumps per night for best results!
