You guys know how much I love Hair Cuttery so it should come as no surprise that I turned to them to refresh my hair for the summer. I went with a simple shampoo, cut and blowdry and left satisfied as always. One of these days, I’m going to branch out and try something a bit more adventurous. I’ve never dyed my hair so maybe highlights or a dramatic cut? What do you guys think? What would suit me best in your opinion?
My usual go-to is the Hair Cuttery in Hanover, MD – Staci, the master stylist there, is absolutely amazing – but I was out of town so I went to the location in Vienna Plaza this time around. You can book an appointment online, but they accept walk-ins as well. A few things to keep in mind, pricing can be higher if you have long hair or book a service with a master stylist. They’re very affordable though!
I get a trim once every two months because I want to make sure my strands stay nice and healthy. I don’t color my hair, but I style it regularly with a flat iron so damage is unavoidable. Split ends are no bueno so I rely on Hair Cuttery to keep my mane looking good on the daily. Salon costs can really add up, but their pricing’s manageable. How often do you guys get your hair cut?
Please excuse me, I can’t stop playing with my mane because it feels so soft and bouncy. To complement my fresh summer hair do, I wore a colorful floral romper and carried a fringe crossbody as an accent. To finish off the look, I threw on nude wedges to elongate my legs!
A huge thanks to Hair Cuttery for sponsoring this post and to Sung Shin for the wonderful photography, as always! To see more on hair, browse this tab. For more casual outfit inspo, click here!
