Alright guys, I’m realllllly excited for today’s post because it’s something I’ve never done before. Sung and I shot this in his house, and we made it editorial-ish because he has this crazy awesome room with gold furniture – it legit looks like it was built for Korean royalty. I wanted to do something extra because my hair is extra today, lol.
A lot of people are shocked when I tell them this, but I’ve actually never dyed my hair before. I’ve been tempted to, but I have naturally brown hair – which is unique for an asian – so I never went through with it. I do have a lot of friends who wear wigs on the regular though. Honestly, I don’t know why I waited so long to try it because it’s the easiest and quickest way to transform one’s look. Better late than never though, right?
I’m wearing the Zara wig in red 130/31, and I really love the color. It’s a little redder than I thought it’d be, but it’s definitely the dramatic look I was going for. This piece was created by Jon Renau, and it’s one of wigs.com’s best sellers! It’s long and layered with softly feathered ends. It has a SmartLace front which gives you a natural looking hairline, and the synthetic hair looks and feels like real hair.
I’ve been thinking about doing some cosplay shoots – curious to hear what you guys think – and now I know exactly where I’m going to get hurr for it. FYI, the top’s a bit poofy so I recommend washing and brushing it before wearing it out.
I’m also going to have my hair stylist thin this out a bit because there’s a little too much hair for my taste, which by the way, is a good “problem” to have considering the price – there’s nothing worse than a skimpy wig! For those of you interested, this is currently on sale for $300 (originally $362), and there are sooo many different shades available. I was tempted to go blonde, but I thought it’d be fun to be a redhead for a day.
Their customer service is bomb, but don’t hesitate to reach out if you guys have any questions you’d like me to answer! I’m always here for y’all. Sending so much love from the DMV area, and if it’s cold where you are, I hope you’re staying warm.

Thank you! <3 I agree!!!
I love ginger hair, I dyed mine that colour about a year and a half ago and I love it but I honestly think your natural colour looks better on you than that ginger colour. The wig looks amazing and really great quality, it looks totally natural.
