If you follow me on instagram, you already know that I walked in this year’s In Christy’s Shoes fashion show. I didn’t take as many pics as I would’ve liked, but here are some shots Sung took! To be honest, I didn’t know much about their organization until they approached me, but they do so much good work, and it was an honor to collaborate with them.
They help women in vulnerable circumstances, and the areas that are impacted are homelessness, unemployment, substance abuse, domestic abuse, human trafficking and brain cancer. They’ve raised over $800k+ to date. For those of you interested, here’s how you can volunteer, give or donate shoes.
I modeled two looks for the show, and both outfits were sponsored by DSW and American Eagle. I didn’t get to style them myself, but Andrea and the other committee members did an amazing job! The first look was this adorable jumpsuit. It was paired with cute Dolce Vita shoes and a painted sunhat.
I liked both ensembles, but the second was definitely my favorite of the two. A beige knit crop top with painted skinnies and striking Calvin Klein heels. What do you guys think of these looks? Let me know which one you like more by leaving a comment below.
Here’s a shot of everyone together! Everyone was super nice, and the whole experience was a ton of fun. If you didn’t get to go to this year’s show, definitely make sure to keep an eye out for next year’s event. I promise you’ll have a fun time!
And here’s a close-up pic of my glam for the show! A huge thanks to Melissa Penrose for doing my hair and Jeannette Moore for my makeup – definitely THE most dramatic look I’ve ever sported. Should this become a daily thing? =P
