It’s been a minute since I last shared a find-of-the-day post! I didn’t categorize today’s outfit as such because it’s $58, but it’s still super cute so I wanted to highlight it anyways.
I recently got this adorable navy mini dress (also available in burgundy though) from Red Dress Boutique and fell in love with the design because it’s sexy yet cute. It’s hard to find pieces with that vibe combo so I’d say it’s worth the splurge!
The comfort level’s what sealed the deal for me though. It’s extremely flattering but uber stylish at the same time. It has a plunging neckline with an open back that ties together with 3 mini bows, and the elastic waistband is ridiculously comfortable.
The large kimono sleeves cover the “bigger” part of your arms, visually slimming your upper body, and the gathered skirt has a two-tier ruffle hem that oozes feminine and flirty.
I didn’t show my full outfit for today’s post, but I was wearing simple nude wedges for a casual everyday look. Looking to transition this baby into fall? Try styling it with nude over-the-knee boots and a chunky knit. So, what do you think of my latest find? Is it something you’d wear or not so much? Let me know by leaving a comment below.
Although today’s post is all about my new navy mini dress, I wanted to take a second to discuss jewelry. Here’s a close-up shot of my necklace from Olive & Loom! I featured them on here a while back, and they’re a small woman-owned business located in Pike & Rose.
They’re known for their bath products, apparel & jewelry (usually featuring local designers), home goods and more. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be available online, but you can browse more of their baubles here.
The owner, Ferzan, is also working with DC area healthcare facilities for an initiative called #GiftsWithPurpose. Basically, you can purchase masks, cards, spa packages and other gifts for those working to help fight COVID. On top of that, 15% of all sales from this collection is donated to Manna Food Center, serving the hungry in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Alright friends, I hope you enjoyed reading my latest post! A huge thanks to Sung Shin for the amazing photography. Peep other fabulous finds here, and stay tuned for new content coming your way every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Until next time! Sending big hugs.
