I don’t know about you guys, but I’m sick of winter. It’s FREEZING, and my skin’s been suffering hardcore. Did you know that our skin starts to feel the effects of cold weather when temperatures drop below 53.6 degrees Fahrenheit? AND central heating can reduce air humidity levels to the same moisture content as the Sahara Desert? Well, contrary to what you may think, thicker creams don’t automatically deliver better hydration. You may seem like that they’re doing a good job moisturizing, but they’re really not.

So naturally, I was PUMPED that they came out with the new Olay Whips. This cream gives you serious hydration with a smooth matte finish that feels lighter than freaking air. Get powerful results without the sticky and (very) icky feeling. Olay Whips is formulated to work AND feel differently with its unique Active Rush Tech. It holds and quickly releases 1000x its weight in hydration and active ingredients.
Remember, it’s not about how heavy your formula feels, but rather, how much moisture it provides. This baby packs as much punch than your heavy moisturizers and is instantly absorbed when applied. Hydration is released upon contact with the natural salts in your skin and leaves it residue free so you won’t have to deal with any kind of greasiness.
Which Olay Whips do you need in your life?
The collection consists of three different kinds ($28.99 each): Regenerist, Total Effects, and Luminous. I want to talk a bit about each one so that you guys can get the right moisturizer for your skin. If you’re looking to diminish wrinkles or fine lines, Regenerist is the way to go. Formulated with advanced Amino-Peptide Complex II, it actively hydrates to improve elasticity, firms skin and regenerates surface cells to give you the best skin of your life.
Total Effect gives you 7 benefits in 1 (hence the name). It replenishes moisture, evens skin tone, enhances brights, smoothes lines, minimizes pores, restores firmness and visibly reduces dark spots. Dang, that was a mouthful, ha! It’s made with VitaNiacin Complex II and Vitamins C & E to fight early signs of aging.
Anddd last but not least, Luminous. This product provides radiance without shine. Its main purpose is to even skin tone and minimize the appearance of pores. It’s created with PearlOptics to give you lasting radiance. I’m currently using Luminous, but I’m planning on trying Total Effects after I’m done with this jar.

Dry skin is my nemesis! I actually have combination skin, but during the winter, my skin is dry, dry and even more dry. I talked about the 3-step reset HERE not too long ago to tell you guys about my current skincare routine, but when Olay came out with Whips, I couldn’t resist getting a jar for myself.
…I can’t resist trying new products…save me? #actuallydontsaveme
Dry skin is caused by low humidity levels in the air – it causes skin to rapidly lose moisture by stripping it of its natural oils. For me, it resulted in flaking which was NOT acceptable. On top of that, my lips were chapped and my hands felt like hooves, lol – sorry for the nasty imagery but ’tis true. Olay Whips helped treat said flakiness and left my skin matte as promised. Honestly, Olay can do no wrong in my book. I am an avid fan of their skincare products, and I will use them for years to come. Click HERE to purchase your Olay Whips!
Have you guys had a chance to try Olay Whips yet? If yes, what are your thoughts? If you’re hesitating, what’s holding you back from trying the product/s out? Definitely let me know by commenting, emailing or whatever. I’m always happy to hear from you guys! Sending lots of love from Maryland.

Ooo this sounds so good. Unfortunately, my skin is super dry. Definitely keeping this in mind for the next time I head to Target, haha! 🙂

I am sick of winter too! I have oily/combo skin so I am very particular about some of the creams and moisturizers I use but this sounds great especially in the winter. =)
