Everyone who knows me knows that I’m a very protective dogmom. I’m always looking for ways to enhance my liddol floof’s life, which brings me to the topic of today’s post. I’m partnering up with Vet’s Best and Nutri-Vet to tell you about 5 items you should consider adding to your dog-cabinet.
Nutri-Vet’s been around for 20+ years, and they work hand in hand with vets to make sure your pet is getting the right amount of the right ingredients. I’ll be telling you about three supplements to start so definitely make sure to bookmark! First up…
Nutri-Vet’s Puppy-Vite Chewables
These chewables are made with vitamins and minerals to help ensure puppies grow into healthy adults! Nutri-Vet makes them with added antioxidants to help neutralize free radicals formed during development and taurine to help support your liddol one’s heart. This provides daily support with vitamin A, D, and B-complex to help with the nervous system, skin, hair, liver, muscle and brain.
Nutri-Vet’s Wild Alaska Salmon Oil
Think premium fish oil – made from only wild, non-farmed salmon – loaded with nourishing Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids to help soothe itchy skin and promote a healthy, shiny coat.
Give this daily to help with dull, dry and shed-prone coats to give the proper nutritional support needed. It’s rich in EPA and DHA so it’ll help your pup’s immune system in addition to supporting their skin, coat, joint, brain, heart and eye health.
Nutri-Vet’s Hip & Joint Biscuits for Dogs
Your floof’s bound to love this because they’ll low key think it’s a peanut butter treat! These biscuits helps maintain normal, healthy cartilage and connective tissue while supporting joint mobility. My dog’s a little too small for this, but it’s great for dogs that are 40+ pounds.
Vet’s Best combines veterinary science with natural, plant-based ingredients so you don’t have to choose between effectiveness and safety. Their motto is “balance is the best choice,” and I have to agree.
Vet’s Best Ear Relief Finger Wipes
My pooch has floppy ears so she tends to get ear infections more often than not, therefore ear care is a must for us. This wipe is easy to use, and it gently and effectively removes dirt and dissolves waxy build up.
They’re free from parabens, and they’re made with all-natural ingredients like witch hazel, aloe vera and tea tree oil so you don’t have to worry about harming your furbaby. Simply rub the accessible portion of your pup’s ear and dispose of it afterwards. Easy peasy.
Vet’s Best Enzymatic Toothpaste for Dogs
I’ve been using this for quite some time now! If you don’t brush your dog’s teeth, please consider starting because it’s so, so important. I brush Daisy’s teeth daily, but my vet actually told me twice daily is ideal. Makes sense right? Humans do it, why wouldn’t dogs?
This toothpaste is formulated with a soothing and effective mix of aloe, neem oil, grapefruit seed extract, baking soda and enzymes. It helps support your dog’s dental hygiene between annual cleanings at your vet’s office. Full transparency, my dog’s 10 years old and hasn’t needed a cleaning yet. It varies for each dog though so definitely make sure to check with a pro!
