It’s time for another find, friends! For my latest, I’m highlighting my new purple satin skirt from Red Dress Boutique. I own it in plum, but it’s also available in rust if you’re interested – either color’s super cute, I just went with the former because it seemed more fall-ish?
Although this piece is made of a polyester/spandex blend, it looks and feels like satin. Don’t ask me how or why because I have no idea, and it high key blows my mind. Some of my favorite features include the ruched front detailing and adjustable side tie – I absolutely love the style, and I have no doubt you will, too!
I’m wearing a size small, and it fits me really well! I’m not sure whether or not they market it as high-waisted, but that’s how it fits me, and I absolutely love how form-flattering it is. It highlights the small of my waist, while exaggerating the curves I have.
For today’s look, I paired my new purple satin skirt with my all-time favorite bralette (click here to purchase) and chic over-the-knee boots. Warning, it IS a little on the shorter side, but I don’t mind since I plan to always wear it with tights, long outerwear, and/or over-the-knee boots.
It is fall after all! I wouldn’t typically recommend wearing something so skimpy up top since the skirt’s so short, but I figured I’d milk my bralette one more time before having to put it away for good! I then threw on a matching cardigan – another Red Dress Boutique find – to tie everything together.
To finish things off, I accessorized with my ivory Chloe bag and nude sunnies. Expect to see eyewear on me 24/7 for the next few weeks. I developed a chalazion (cyst on my eyelid) 6 weeks ago, and it’s taken over my face. I mean, it’s a huge pain in my butt, but life could be worse I skapose.
It apparently occurs when you have a blocked oil gland? Not really sure how that happened, but all I know is, I never want another one again. Since it’s been a good month and a half, it looks like I’ll have to get it surgically removed. Bleh. Please send me positive vibes friends because the thought of getting this procedure done gives me the heebie-jeebies.
Anywho, that’s it for today friends. A huge thanks to my bestie Sung Shin for the awesome photography! For more fab finds, make sure to click here, and stay tuned for more content coming your way. I update every Monday, Thursday and Saturday so I hope to see you back soon. Until next time! Sending you all the positive vibes.
