Hey friends! It’s time for another haul post. I’m really excited to review my latest Red Dress purchase with you all today! Stick with me until the end to read about affordable Spring must-haves, and let me know if you have any questions. So without further ado, let’s start with my favorite piece of the bunch!
Say Less Black Pants
I never thought I could pull off the wide leg pant, but these are super flattering. They’re high waisted so they highlight the small of my waist while visually elongating my stems. They’re $42, but they look way more expensive than they are, and they just so conveniently match my go-to fitted blazer.
Call me crazy, but it’s hard to find blacks that match on the regular. They always seem to be slightly off, but this high key looks like a matching two-piece set, and I’m not mad about it. Underneath, I’m wearing yet another Red Dress piece, but it’s not really my jam.
It’s called the Malibu Drives crop, and it’s also available in white. The design looks really cute on their model online, but it makes my arms and shoulders look especially bulky which is no bueno. I’d pass on the top and but definitely get the pant.
I’m wearing a size small, but it’s available from x-small to large. The piece has a pleated waist, a matching adjustable belt, a hidden side zipper, and is as comfortable as sweats. No joke! Click here to purchase.
Roam With You Midi Dress
I reallllly wanted to love this dress, but there’s something about the front that’s a little off. I love everything from the design to the color, but it has a modesty snap that causes the top to poof out, and I’m not sure why?
Either this is a size too big or mine has a design flaw? Who knows. For $54, I’d pass on this. It’s definitely pretty, and I can see myself sporting it on the beach or at the pool, but for the price that’s not good enough. I’d want to be able to wear it out casually as well! That’s just me though – fit may be different if you’re more endowed up top. I’ll leave it to you guys!
Looking Your Way Plaid Romper
I’m not a big romper person, but this is absolutely adorable. It has a plunging neckline though so you may have to wear a bralette underneath, and heads up, the back is totally open so you’re going to be showing quite a bit of skin.
I’d save this for a really hot day or layer with a thin cardigan/duster for balance. This is obviously my personal preference – because I don’t like showing too much at once – but do whatever makes you feel good.
This piece has a crisscross tie back halter with super cute ruffle detailing. I’m wearing a size small, but it’s also available in medium and large for those of you interested. Click here to shop!
On The List Pants
And last but not least, we have one more wide leg pant option. These are really comfortable but not as chic or as flattering as the black pair listed above. It’s obvious what my choice is between the two, but this is a great pick for those of you looking to elevate your loungewear situation at home.
Although these pants are made of a nylon/rayon blend, they look and feel kind of like linen. Pair ’em with sneakers and a casual knit for an effortlessly cool everyday ensemble. Click here to purchase!
