I feel like every one of my post starts with, “I’m so sorry…”. And as you may have guessed, it’s been a crazy last few weeks hence the silence on my part. I’ve been struggling to stay afloat, but I’m back, and I hope you guys aren’t too mad at me.
For today’s post, I’m sharing my latest haul with you – I recently got 4 new pieces from Red Dress Boutique, and I’m beyond excited to review my purchases with you guys. So without further ado, let’s kick things off with my new plaid jacket.
1. Just Hold On Coat ($44)
Low key shocked that this is only $44. It looks a lot more expensive than it is, and I love that it’s both stylish and comfortable. I feel like jacket is more accurate though? Because when I think of coats, I think of heavy duty outerwear, but maybe that’s a misconception on my part.
The fabric’s on the thinner side so it’s more of a transitional piece IMO. It has a “traditional” collar with functional pockets on the front and side. I’m wearing a small, and it fits me well, but it’s oversized so expect it to be loose! I recommend wearing it with a cute crop top + skinny jeans to balance out the volume up top.
It’s currently sold out in small and medium, but I have a feeling they’ll be restocking soon. Definitely make sure to bookmark and purchase when you can because this piece is a must!
2. She’s The One Eyelet Dress ($72)
I reallllly wanted to like this dress, but it didn’t work out. It was such a shame because the model on their site looked SO cute wearing it. I loved the eyelet print, sweetheart neckline and tiered skirt – I just wish the sleeves weren’t as puffy. The price point was also a bit too high for my taste! I say pass on this and keep searching for your perfect LWD (little white dress).
3. From the Horizon Maxi Dress ($49)
Unlike the mini discussed above, I am completely and utterly obsessed with this maxi, like I’m honestly shocked this hasn’t sold out yet. It oozes chic, and it looks way, WAY more expensive than it is.
It’s one of those dresses that look amazing for both work and play. Perfect for the office but also great for brunch or even a first date! Notable features include long sleeves with functional double button cuffs, pockets and an elastic waistband with a matching adjustable tie belt. 11/1o recommend!
4. Place to Place Paisley Maxi Dress ($64)
I’m torn on this one. I like the print – and the design overall – but it desperately needs a belt. I ended up using the one from the maxi above to cinch my waist, and that took care of everything.
The dress has a really beautiful boho vibe, and the flowy silhouette is stunning. It comes with a removable slip with adjustable straps so that’s a plus as well! Wear it with said slip or opt for a more scandalous option (perhaps boy shorts and a bralette) for a more fashion forward look.
Alright friends, I hope you enjoyed reading my latest haul post. I have new content coming your way so make sure you check back every Monday and Thursday. Moving forward, I’ll be updating at least twice a week so stay tuned.
