It’s been a minute since I last posted a haul on here so here goes! I’m pumped to share today’s review (featuring Red Dress) with you guys. I haven’t been doing much shopping as of late, but I’ll be stocking up over the next few weeks so keep an eye out. You know, with winter sales and everything! Make sure you stick with me until the end to see which pieces are worth the $, and which aren’t.
Left: Never Too Cold Beige Plaid Coat ($84)
I am completely and utterly obsessed with this winter coat! At $84, it’s not the most affordable item you’ll find at Red Dress, but it looks way more expensive than it is so it’s worth the investment IMO.
It oozes Maxmara vibes, and it’s a classic design that’ll forever be in style. Plus, neutral shades go with anything and everything so that’s also a win. This piece comes with a tie waist with button closures and functional pockets. I’m wearing a size small, and it fits me perfectly! 10/10 recommend.
Middle: Stating the Obvious Black Plaid Pants ($68)
These pants look awesome on the model above but not so much on me. The print’s cool, but it definitely adds on lbs so definitely keep that in mind! The fabric’s nice and thick though, perfect for winter! The quality’s all in all great, just wish it were a bit more slimming.
Right: Dare to Remember Teal Dress ($44)
I really wanted to love this dress, but it just didn’t work out. The color’s beautiful, and the price is fairly reasonable, but the fit was no bueno, at least on my frame. It has gorgeous sheer sleeves with ruffle accents along with a two-tier skirt – feminine deets FTW – but it just wasn’t flattering. Maybe you guys will have better luck? Let me know if you decide to cop it for yourself!
Left: Always A Possibility Plaid Coat ($78)
For those of you interested, this coat’s also available in coral and green, but I think pale blue reigns supreme. As much as I like this piece, if I had to choose between this and the beige design above, I’d definitely go with the latter.
With that said, this is a great option for those of you looking for a casual but stylish everyday coat. And it’s more of a fall coat IMO because it’s not especially warm, but you can always cozy up with a scarf, gloves and hat!
Middle: Polished and Poised Nude Bag ($48)
Made of vegan leather, this chevron quilted bag has a double flap, adjustable chain strap, and is big enough to house all your essentials and then some. I was actually surprised at how large this was? It’s almost a little too much for me, but that’s just my personal preference. On a more positive note, this piece transitions beautifully from day to night and is very Chanel-esque. Interested? This style’s also available in black, red and white.
Right: Love Symphony Mauve Pink Floral Print Dress ($84)
Love, love, LOVE this dress! Channel your inner goddess with this gorgeous maxi. The floral print’s really pretty, and the design will further accentuate your curves, resulting in an exaggerated hourglass figure. This is more of a spring/summer dress for sure, but I give it a 10/10 regardless of the season.
