If you’re looking to up your loungewear game, you’re welcome in advance. Not gonna lie, I’m not the kind of girl who goes out and buys what I call “home clothes,” but the pandemic’s really changed things.
For me, comfort always comes first. I guess that’s why I’m the sensible stylista, eyyyyyyy see what I did there? Cheesy jokes aside, definitely make sure to stick with me until the end for awesome product recommendations and a chance to win a $100 gift card to Sunday Citizen!
Before I dive into my review, I want to shout them out for their bomb about section. I’m just gonna quote it for you guys because I feel like it really captures the essence of their brand.
“We are the curators of soft. Seekers of chill. We believe in comfort over everything. Fabrics so disruptively soft they make you hit the snooze button one more time. Products so radically cozy, you’ll rejoice when the night out gets cancelled. We craft pieces for citizens of the Sunday lifestyle. If you love power naps, cap naps, naps with cats, 2-hour naps, caffeinated naps. If softness is the object of your desire. We see you, Sunday Citizen.”
Please tell me you enjoyed reading that as much as I enjoyed typing it out. Branding so on point, right? Now, without further ado, let’s talk clothes. Pictured below: their Cosset Lazy Jogger ($65) and Relaxed Pullover ($70).
Made of a viscose, polyester, and elastane blend, the fabric’s uber soft and breathable. You can purchase each piece separately, but I like the monochromatic day-off look so I got both!
I’m wearing caviar black, but there are 5 other colors available. Size small fits loosely, but I prefer that, and I still think it flatters my frame. I’m not big on bodycon to start with so it’s an extra big no when it comes to bodycon loungewear.
I don’t own their Cosset leggings, shorts or zip up hoodie, but they all seem to be popular options as well so I linked them just in case you guys wanted to shop.
Here’s a shot of their Nube Ribbed Long Cardigan. At $120, it’s a bit of a splurge, but I decided it was worth the investment since it’s super versatile. I’m wearing dust (a light beige of sorts), but it’s also available in 4 other colors.
It’s an ultra-soft, loose fitting open robe/sweater hybrid that you can wear both in and out. Throw it on top of your jammies or wear it with a tee + jeans combo for an effortlessly stylish everyday look. Because who wouldn’t want to spend their day wrapped up in a cozy robe like this?
Alright friends, I hope you enjoyed reading about my Sunday Citizen must haves. It’s time for free swag so I hope you’re excited! They’ve generously agreed to offer one lucky winner a $100 gift card so you definitely want to enter. Open worldwide, this giveaway ends on March 15th and will be announced here on my rafflecopter widget.
