Words can’t even begin to express how much I love my new romper dress from Nordstrom. It was courtesy of Trunk Club, but here’s the backstory on how I got it. I don’t know if you guys remember, but a while back, I covered an event for them – if you missed the post, just click here. Well, everyone there got to choose three items they wanted in honor of the holidays, but I never got my trunk in the mail [insert sad face]. I reached out to them to explain the situation, and they very generously offered to give me credit instead.
Basically, you fill out an online profile with sizes and preferences, and your personal stylist works to find clothing of your dreams. She was SO on point with this dress! It’s seriously everything I love. The coral color is to-die-for beautiful, and the embroidered lace makes me happy every time I look at it. The slit’s just the right amount of sexy, and I love that the sleeves are long enough to cover the fatty part of my arms. For those of you interested, it’s available for purchase here for $79. Yay for visual illusions. And speaking of visual illusions, you may want to check out this related post on “how-to lose 10lbs with fashion.”
For today’s OOTD, I kept things simple and classy. I thought about accessorizing with a necklace, but ultimately decided against it because I wanted my dress to take center stage. I did, however, throw on a pair of statement earrings. To finish my look off, I carried my beige Chloe crossbody and wore shoes to match. I didn’t want my dress to drag so I went with super high platform wedges.
