Alright guys, it’s time for another haul post. For today’s blast, I’ll be reviewing 5 pieces from my latest Red Dress Boutique order. Not everything was a winner so definitely make sure to stick with me until the very end to see which pieces were dos…and which were don’ts.
1. Penthouse Sweet Olive Multi Cardigan ($52)
This heavy knit cardigan has an effortlessly stylish patchwork design with functional side pockets and long sleeves completed by folded cuffs. Made of a polyester/acrylic blend, this design’s a bit boxy.
Personally, I like looser silhouettes when it comes to shirts and jackets so I was a fan, but if you want something form-fitting, pass on this. For $52, it’s definitely on the pricier side, but if you’re looking for outerwear you can wear on the regular, this is a great option. I wore mine with high-waisted jeans and a black crop top, but the color scheme’s versatile so you can pretty much wear it with whatever, and it’ll look good!
2. Forever In Love Tunic Sweater ($48)
I’m wearing this in Charcoal, but it’s also available in four other colors. I really wanted to like this tunic, but it just didn’t work out for me. It’s oversized but in an unflattering way. The piece sits weird on my neck, and the fabric was staticky and itchy. I’m usually a huge fan of Red Dress, but this was a no-go for me. I say pass on this!
3. Coming On Up Cream Hoodie ($44)
For those of you looking for a cute but comfy hoodie, this is an absolute must-have! This cable-knit top has an adjustable drawcord hood with braided diamond detailing and functional front patch pockets. It’s made of 100% acrylic, and there’s a matching skirt available which is SUPER CUTE. I don’t know what it is about two-piece sets, but I’m very much a fan.
Priced at $44, this is definitely worth the money. And let’s be real, we could all use more loungewear in our lives, especially with everything going on in the world – this is a stylish option that you can wear both in and out, so take a look-see, and let me know if you have any questions.
4. Last To Love Cowl Neck Sweater ($44)
This is basically a wearable blanket. If you want something cozy and comfortable, you’re welcome in advance. Made of a polyester, rayon and spandex blend, this honestly feels like fleece. It has an oversized silhouette that’s beyond forgiving so if you plan on feasting, this is a fabulous option. No sucking in necessary, and yes, I speak from personal experience.
It has a hi-lo hemline in the back with cute side slits – wear it with skinny jeans or leggings for a fashionable everyday ensemble you can breathe in. I own oatmeal in XS/S, but it’s also available in 4 other colors and M/L!
5. Keep It Toasty Camel Teddy Coat ($68)
This is easily my FAVORITE piece out of today’s haul! For those of you looking for a solid winter coat, get this ASAP. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this coat. Made of faux fur, the design features a large notched collar with a single button front with two functioning front pockets.
It’s $68, but it honestly looks way, WAY more expensive. This is by far the best deal on this list, and you can wear it with anything and everything. I’ve gotten so much wear out of it already, and I know it’ll a staple for years to come.
